Cool rug for rugrats and adults alike. The Flying Carpet is a cross between a carpet and a couch or maybe a chaize longue. It is designed by Spanish Emiliana Design Studio and made from 100% wool with wedges made of 100% wool felt with a foam interior. It strongly resembles another couple of ideas that I have featured previously. One is the rug-and-pillow by Nani Marquina of Barcelona, the other the Kloc rug-with-backrest by French designer Kristian Gavoile for Ligne Roset. Flying Carpet via The Cool Hunter, Nani Marquina and Kristian Gavoile from our archives.
