Rug with built-in back rest.
This rug has a feature we have never seen on any other rug before. It has a built in back-, neck-, or shoulder rest, to make your floor level living a little easier. If you do not want to lie down, you can always sit on the hump. The rug is made for adults, we think, but can you imagine the impact it would make in the kid's room? It is called Kloc by French designer Kristian Gavoile and it was made in 2000 for French firm Ligne Roset. It measures 1.90 x 2.30 meters (about 6 ft. 2 in. x 7 ft. 5 in.), is available in several different colors, and you can also add more humps if you wish. How much it is, we do not know, but a guess would be "not exactly cheap". Ligne Roset.

Best looking flashlight so far
By now it would be pretty clear to our readers what kind of design we like. So our choice of this flashlight should come as no surprise. It is called Fliklite, designed by Rob Cheetham, and it has no on off button; you turn it on or off by a flick of the wrist (hence the name). It also sports an impressive set of capabilities; four extra strength LEDs, over 25 hours of light from one set of batteries, waterproof down to 30 meters (100 ft.), light visible over 3 kilometers (1.8 miles). The Fliklite is GBP 49:95 (about USD 88:-) on the manufacturer's home page. Fliklite.

What are SonyEricson and Nokia doing
It is Japanese and called Penck (no, we do not know how they come up with those names) and it is available in silver (above) white or grand piano black. All are just as handsome and they also have a newly designed UI. Unfortunately they are not for Europe, but check out the link for an eyeful. We hope Sony Ericson and Nokia will sneak a peak, too! Apple has done it again.
Apple never ceases to surprise, even if we really should not be surprised anymore. We mean, after the iMac that rocked the PC world with it's happy colors, the titanium PowerBook, iBook with it's really cool white plastic and (of course) the iPod, we should only be surprised by the fact that we are surprised. But, here it is. The Mac Mini. A tiny all in one computer. Without the display, mouse and key board, of course. But at a price that no Mac has been anywhere near before. SEK 4.695:- at the Apple Store. It is hat tipping time. Again. Apple.
